Wikis, blogs, discussion forums… Which is best for online communication and collaboration?

This workshop will focus on using blogs and wikis for providing engaging collaborative learning environments. The facilitators will discuss the affordances of both tools, their pros and cons, and the pedagogical reasoning behind making the best selection. The participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, and take a look at numerous examples of how wikis and blogs can be used successfully.

Presenters: Natasha Boskic and Sharon Hu

Biography: Natasha Boskic is the Educational Technology Manager and Sharon Hu is the Instructional Designer in the Faculty of Education, External Programs and Learning Technologies.
